The House
The Cameo is Blackpool Centrally located within an easy walking distance of most major attractions.
The house is in the heart of the town and is only a 5 minutes walk from the beach, the Promenade and from Blackpool Tower. A short walk leads to the Winter Gardens and to the Houndshill Shopping Centre. The Guest House is around 8 minutes’ drive from both Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Blackpool Zoo.
Each room at The Cameo has en suite bathroom facilities with shower, hairdryer and complementary toiletries. There is a TV and tea and coffee facilities in all rooms. Free Wifi is also available in the house.
Although there's no on-site car park at the house, there are paid public car parks nearby, the closest Central Car Park only 2 minutes walk from The Cameo.
Historical Events
The Cameo is under new management since the end of September 2020.
It was redecorated and modernized in 2018/2019 and in 2019 it was awarded a 4-star rating Guest Accommodation from Visit England.
In September 2018, based on reviews left by guests staying at the house, The Cameo was awarded the HotelsCombined Recognition of Excellence for 2018 in the UK.
At the beginning of 2019 The Cameo received the 2018 Guest Review Award from Booking.com as a recognition of hard work day after day, and guest after guest.
Beginning of 2020 brought another HotelsCombined Recognition of Excellence for 2020 - this award is a recognition for consistently achieving highest standards of customers satisfaction worldwide. The award is not a ranking list but a group of outstanding accommodations chosen based on a strict set of criteria. It is important to note that to receive this award, unlike some other awards, we didn't have to pay or enter any competition as it is based on analysis of guests reviews on booking sites.
It all shows how much guests enjoy and appreciate they stay at The Cameo but also the commitment of the management to create enjoyable space for our guests.
